Hello

Yay pictures, yea I heard about it being Memorial day in the US. sweet, as soon as I get the card I'll send you the filled one. I've also wrote on a paper the description of all the photos are so you guys aren't left guessing who people are lol. Yea, I've gotten some letters from my group of friends in Cali, they said they are also sending me some candy or some sort of goods
I'm glad that teaching went good, at least you aren't in primary he-he, I;m glad you guys are in a nice ward, that always makes it easier.
Wasn't Eureka just the best show ever? To bad its over. but what did you think of it? That's really cool that the park is kinda throwing a block party, it will let you get to know all the old folks that live there ha-ha,
I dont know what happened to my letter I resent it and it had the right postage, so give it another week, We call the mail up here Canadian snail mail cause everything literally takes FOREVER,
I won't forget about D-day lol I will sent a card and let him know.
I did get the two letters with the card, thank you I forgot to say thanks last week sorry, yes I liked the word of encouragement, and the card is really cool. I put it next to my bed,
The district leaders pick the mail up every Friday and then it all depends on when we see them. like today we are going down to Calgary for district meetings so this would be a chance to get mail. so maybe 2 or 3 times a month we get to get our mail. It sucks but that's one of the bad sides of being this far on the edge of the mission field. and 150 km from the closest missionaries.
This week went really fast, it rained a lot so it was a little harder to do things, but like the branch gave us bikes to use, so on nice days we use those and it's a little better for street contacting,
OH something cool, on Friday the 31st my companion and I are going to act out a scripture story at the branch talent night so that will be fun, I'll try and get someone to record it for me,
I love you guys lots

Yesterday we as a district and part zone went to the Royal Tyrell Museum (Drumheller Dinosaur Museum) and we went to the top of the worlds biggest T-Rex! I got lots of pictures. I think I've had something true Canadian  it was squash spaghetti (the noodles were made if squash and then topped in regular tomato sauce  and I've also had 100% real maple syrup its so much better then the stuff we usually have. At first I only found a few people with accents but now I hear it everywhere! and yes the do say EH a lot lol and some words they say different are garage, again, house, bag, and some others I can't remember at the moment, I did resend the letter it should be getting there soon enough I hope.
Love you lots
Devin

Cost of postage

We talked to Devin, he said if you want to send a package go ahead and send it UPS or FedEx because it is cheaper. Make sure to write GIFT along with Missionary supplies, personal clothing or used clothing on the outside of the box. We went to the post office and found out that sending packages through them to Canada is really expensive.

First assignment

Devin entered into the MTC in Provo, UT on April 10,2013. He flew into Calgary on April 23, 2013 and was met by the mission president. He stayed the night in the mission home and then was off with his trainer-companion Elder Smith from Perry, UT. He is serving in Drumheller at the moment. It is in the badlands. Look it up on the internet to find out more about it. we got a short email but he said he wrote us snail mail and they should be here shortly.
I put his address in the about me part of the blog. This is for letters and packages.
Please keep him in your prayers.
